Leave No Trace
Camp Folks is excited to announce that on November 2nd from 6-8 pm we will be partnering with the Subaru team and Leave No Trace for a free workshop about environmental responsibility. We will learn proper disposal techniques, as well as outdoor ethics and resource preservation, local cleanup movements, beautification projects, as well as many volunteer organizations focusing on environmental protection.
As a preview to Wednesday’s Workshop, Leave No Trace’s seven tried and true core principles to environmental preservation are:
- Plan Ahead and Prepare
- Travel and Camp on Durable Surfaces
- Dispose of Waste Properly
- Leave What You Find
- Minimize Campfire Impacts
- Respect Wildlife
- Be Considerate of Other Visitors
