New Shop Hours & more!
Camp Folks opened its doors to the public 6 short months ago, and today we’re excited to announce our new store hours! Beginning today, Camp Folks will be open from 12pm – 7pm Wednesday – Sunday in Railroad Square Art Park.
Railroad Square Art Park is a Tallahassee gem featuring an eclectic mix of artists, restaurants, and retail spaces. Some of our favorite spots in the park include Black Dog Cafe, The Other Side Vintage, Curio, Wonsaponatime, Tally Rock Gym, Proof Brewing Co., The Crum Box, The Crystal Portal, B Major, Making Awesome, and Sworlz Cupcake & Art Studio. And those are just a handful of the unique shops you’ll find around the park, you’ll have to come visit to explore them all!
Since we moved into Railroad Square, there has been the harsh sounds of construction outside of our doors as a new roundabout is being developed as part of the Blueprint 2000’s Capitol Cascades Project. FAMU Way is being extended from Cascades Park to Martin Luther King Jr Blvd right now, and the project is wrapping up quickly! We can’t wait to greet people at the new entrance of Railroad Square this Summer and hope to become a resource for folks exploring the paved trail and beyond. Eventually, the road will lead all the way to Lake Bradford and will include bicycle pathways, playgrounds, and more!
